“Better Cheddar” Spread 💫

If you have any ties to New Orleans there is a high likelihood that you have been served Better Cheddar, an infamous dip sold at a few local NOLA grocery stores. While no one has shared the exact recipe, this is our version.

8 oz sharp white cheddar, grated

3/4 cup pecans, toasted then chopped

1/4 cup scallions (2-3 scallions), minced

1/2 cup mayo

1 tablespoon Dijon

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon cayenne

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Combine all ingredients and let set for a least an hour for flavors to combine.  Serve with ritz!
