A friend of mine shared stories about her grandmother serving Chex Mix every night at cocktail hour. Brilliant. Supposedly she was pretty fabulous, born Southern, but raised her family in New England. Sounds familiar. When working on the perfect Chex Mix recipe I often found myself thinking of her and what makes the perfect Chex Mix to serve at cocktail hour. Night after night. We hope you will make this. Gift it to some friends. Serve it at cocktail hour. And feel fabulous.

Whisk together:
10 Tablespoons butter, melted
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
2 teaspoons celery salt
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

Combine:
3 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Rice Chex
3 cups Wheat Chex
2 cups pretzel twists
2 cups mini saltines
1 cup cheddar goldfish

Preheat oven to 250 degrees

Divide the Chex mixture onto two baking sheets . Drizzle each tray with half of the butter mixture. Use a spatula to toss the mixture well.

Place trays in the oven and cook for one hour, tossing the mixture well every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and cool on trays. Enjoy!
