Spicy Margarita

We’re pretty sure we just perfected the spicy marg. While more “classic”marg girls ourselves…this one really has us excited! Infusing your tequila really takes it up a notch and creates a smooth heat. Infuse for at least 24-48 hours, longer if you’re spicy ;)

For one margarita….
2 ounces jalapeño-infused tequila
1 ounce Cointreau
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice

Zesty rim….
1 teaspoon turbinado sugar
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Zest of one lime

Combine all ingredients together and kinda pinch around with your fingers to meld the flavors. Can store in airtight container in fridge for up to a week.

Firstly, infuse your tequila!
Slice a large jalapeño in half - leaving all the seeds. Drop into at least 4 cups of tequila of your choice. We used @cimarrontequila. Cover and let infuse at room temp for at least 24-48 hours (longer if you prefer spicier!)

Rim your fun glasses with either a lime wedge or honey and dip glass in the salt/sugar mixture. Add all ingredients to shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour!

Enjoy 💫
