Cheesy Garlic Bread

When I tell you this is the best garlic bread you will ever have... I mean it’s bread, butter and cheese- it’s hard to mess those things up. But I promise that anyone you serve this to will know you for your garlic bread.

Epic Cheesy Garlic Bread

1 stick salted butter, softened
3 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1/2 Tablespoon finely minced flat leaf parsley
1 Tablespoon finely minced chives
1 Tablespoon finely chopped scallions, white part only
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, chopped finely
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Combine all ingredients in a bowl with softened, room temperature butter. Mix.

Slice baguette or Italian loaf crosswise and spread butter onto bread. You may not need all of the spread, depending of the size of the bread.

Wrap loaf in foil and pop into a 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.

If you’d like it crispy on top, unwrap the bread and place, cut side up, under the broiler for 1-2 minutes.

This compound butter can be stored, tightly wrapped in the fridge or freezer!
