Chili Lime Peanuts
These spicy nuts are the perfect botana or snack to accompany our White Dragon Margarita! They remind me of a bar snack you would find at a cool and quaint Mexican restaurant in the West Village. And they’re super quick to toss together with ingredients you likely already have on hand. Enjoy!
1/2 pound dry roasted peanuts
4 tbsp lime
1 1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp Chile powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin
Spread peanuts in an even layer in a large pan and sauté over low heat until fragrant. About 3-4 minutes. Take off the heat and add the lime juice, stirring to coat. While still damp, sprinkle on the salt and spices and toss to distribute. Spread peanuts onto a paper towel lined plate or board and let dry.
Serve in a pretty dish alongside a delicious margarita 💫
