To start off our delicious Spanish tapas & wine pairings, we concocted the traditional Spanish cocktail Tinto de Verano to welcome guests.

It’s ideal for sipping on a hot afternoon but also a refreshing palate cleanser at the start of your tapas & wine dinner party. See the recipe below!

Tinto de Verano

Ice cubes

4 ounces dry red Spanish wine (like this Spanish Grenache from @bodegas_borsao, quality and inexpensive)!

4 ounces lemon-lime soda (@Sprite or @lacasera_es to be authentic)

1 lemon or lime slice for garnish
