Yellow Hammer

THE signature drink at Gallettes, a bar located near Bryant-Denny Stadium (our stomping grounds all four years of college) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (our alma mater). The drink is named after Alabama’s state bird!
The Yellow Hammer is a popular tailgate drink for University of Alabama football games. Gallettes must sell thousands of Yellow Hammers on football game weekends!
The exact recipe is a closely guarded secret…but I (Leigh) got the inside scoop from some friends and family that bartended at Gallettes in their college days ;)

1.5 ounces vodka
1.5 white rum
1.5 orange juice
1.5 pineapple juice
1 ounce white cranberry juice
1/4 ounce amaretto
1/4 ounce Grand Marnier
Splash of Sprite or lemon-lime sparkling soda/water
